The Town of Manchester’s Principal Assessor, Ginny Noyes Thompson is President of the Northeastern Regional Association of Assessing Officers, Inc. (NRAAO) for the next year. Ginny was sworn in as President on May 25, 2017 at the Mystic 连接icut Hilton during the banquet for the 2017 NRAAO Conference. Ginny will be President until the end of the 2018 Conference which will be held at the Boston Marriott Quincy, April 29 – May 2, 2018.

The NRAAO is an organization that provides training and educational opportunities for assessing officials in the Northeastern United States and Canadian Provinces. It includes 连接icut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New H我pshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island and Quebec.

Ginny was President of the Massachusetts Association of Assessing Officers (MAAO) July 2012 through June 2013. She has worked for the Town of Manchester, as their Principal Assessor since January 1995.
